In gross violation of two separate ceasefire agreements concluded by Russia and the United States of America with Turkey, in the region, the villages of Ain Issa have witnessed, since late 2019, fierce attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, amid the silence of the Damascus government and Russia, which is supposed to act guarantors.

In the last attempt of pretending the establishment of the joint observation points between the Damascus government forces and the Russian forces on the Ain Issa town vicinity, the Turkish attacks did not stop for one day, as the infiltration attempts by mercenaries continued amid the ongoing heavy artillery and mortar shelling by the Turkish occupation army, while the Russian side was satisfied with watching and conducting joint patrols in both Kobane and some border areas of the Jazira region.

In parallel with this, a Russian-Turkish partnership and special warfare on the peoples of the region and the Autonomous Administration go on, as the two parties seek to consolidate their military influence in the region that is witnessing escalating conflict.

In this context, Member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Union Party, Ahmed Sheikho, confirmed in an interview with our ANHA agency, "These attacks are nothing but a tool of the special war that Russia and Turkey are conducting."

Russia follows declared blackmailing towards the Syrian Democratic Forces, through its insistence on taking over Ain Issa or facing the Turkish occupation, which launches its attacks with Russian blessing, according to analysts and observers.

Sheikho says, "The recent attacks against the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration are to pressure them and dismantle their system to hand over the town of Ain Issa to the Baathist regime, which has not changed despite two-thirds of the Syrian cities had been destroyed."

He states that "these attacks aims at making people of the region feel helplessness, through the constant threat of invading the regions, once by invading Kobani and the other by occupying Ain Issa. What is happening now in Ain Issa is in cooperation with the guarantor." The Russian whose role is supposed to be opposit. "

In his speech, Sheikho noted that "political interests have imposed on the Russian side to overlook the Turkish trends and policies attached to the attacks and violations. Therefore, the two sides seek to paralyze the struggle movement of the region, which is an attempt to dismantle the popular structures of the Autonomous Administration and then the Syrian Democratic Forces."

In addition, the Russian-Turkish interests table continues to punish the people of the town of Ain Issa and its villages, amid an international silence that is almost like permanent slumber towards this region.
