HRE reveal a year outcome of operations against occupiers

Today, the Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) revealed in a statement the outcome of operations against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, and the outcome of the Turkish attacks on the region.

The text of the statement read:

“After the occupation of Afrin canton, the Turkish state followed various anti-human policies and practices of killing, kidnapping, smelting and extermination; these practices are still continuing: on the one hand it is working to bring about a demographic change in Afrin, on the other hand it is destroying the nature of Afrin and erase its historical monuments, targeting the people and nature every day through violent bombardments, the people who were forced to leave their homes due to the occupation still face the threat of extermination.

In the face of Turkish state’s policies, our forces carried out continuous operations against the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries in 2020.

The outcome of the operations is:

265 soldiers and mercenaries were eliminated.

Among them are 235 mercenaries and 30 soldiers in the Turkish occupation army.

214 soldiers and mercenaries were wounded.

172 of them are mercenaries and 42 are Turkish soldiers

Our forces are in all of those operations

Our forces captured 12 AK-47s, lots of bullets and magazines, an M-16, 2 A4, 2 BKC, RPG 7, 1 MPT 76 sniper rifle, two night binoculars, 3 walkie-talkies, a camera, 5 cell phones, a land surveyor, a night binocular, and a day scope, in addition to documents and military equipment.

In addition, 35 military vehicles and three Dushka weapons were destroyed, in addition to two drones, including tanks and armored vehicles and eleven military vehicles were damaged.

The Turkish occupation army launched 375 attacks on the region during 2020: 7 civilians were killed, 14 others were wounded, including children, and the mercenaries launched two ground attacks.

During those attacks, 20 of our comrades rose to the rank of martyrdom. "
