Various activities held in al-Shahba on New Year occasion

Dozens of members of the civil institutions of al-Shahba canton participated in the celebration held in Axîn Welat Hall for Culture and Art in Fafin district of al-Shahba canton.

The hall was decorated with pictures of martyrs, pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, pictures of Kurdish folkloric art, dress and heritage, and banners with "By breaking the isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the solidarity of peoples, we guarantee an advanced democratic society," "The Kurdistan revolution is the basis of the revolution in the Middle East" written on.

The party began with a minute of silence, followed by the opening speech by the Administrator of the Culture and Art Committee of Al-Shahba canton, Abdel Aziz Koussa, in which he congratulated all the attendees and the co-existent components of al-Shahba canton, and wished that peace and safety are spread in the new year, in addition to the liberation of all occupied lands and the return of the displaced to their homes.

This was followed by the "storyteller" segment, who delivered a novel that talked about the emergence of the universe, the emergence of religions and the difference and diversity of religions and peoples of the world.

Then Abdel Aziz Koussa presented several Kurdish songs among the audience's interaction.

This was followed by the martyr Brusk Band presenting various performances of Kurdish dancing and dabka.

Then the child Diana Al-Hussein, with a member of the Culture and Art Committee, Ahmed Salama, recited two poetry paragraphs, telling about a persecuted child who narrates the story of all Syrian children, and the second poem talks about the Kurdish people, especially the Yazidis and their tragedies.

Then, the Martyr "Delsher Kafr Naseh" Band from the Arab component of al-Shahba canton presented Dabkeh expressing their Arab culture and heritage.

To complete the storyteller series on religions that were in ancient times, the storyteller continued his story about the West, the Greeks and how earth, their gods and religions began at that time, then he narrated another story entitled (Worship) that tells about the worship of God in those times.

Then, Awazi Shahba Band presented revolutionary songs.

Then the Shahba Band performed a play that narrates the crisis and the displacement of the population from one place to another under the title (Autumn Tree).

At the end of the concert, the Martyr Joan Kafr Naya Band presented songs highlighting Arab culture, in addition to Arab revolutionary songs.

The celebration ended with holding Dabkeh circles with the participation of the attendees.
