AANES congratulates Syria's components on New Year, vows to step up efforts to uphold values of brotherhood

This came in the AANES's statement on the New Year, in which it said:

Hours till the ball drops and the Syrian crisis is unsolved except for an escalation in the terrorist interventions of Turkey and its mercenaries and its threat to destabilize NE Syria, these negative developments indicate hidden and insincere intentions to solve the crisis.

Therefore, the ongoing Turkish occupation inhuman practices against the Syrian people and the conspiracy of pro-Turkey mercenaries is a dangerous factor and a poisoned dagger in the back of the Syrians.

On the New Year of 2021, we congratulate all the components of the Syrian people, this event embraces meanings of love, peace and coexistence, and we renew our vows to double our efforts in the AANES, seeking to step up the values of brotherhood that our people believe in in order to achieve the desired democracy, and insist on our struggle for the sake of the liberation of our occupied areas and the return of our forcibly displaced people and refugees.

Therefore, all Syrian parties must show seriousness and responsibility in ending this tragedy in the new year, as we also do in the line of democracy, justice, equality and ending the occupation.

In conclusion, we affirm that excluding the AANES and denying the rights of our people is a public targeting of all principals of the democratic transformation in Syria, especially in light of our Syrian affiliation and keen interest in the unity of Syria, which has been practically entrenched in reality.

May the New Year be a year of goodness for all, and our Syria is free from wars and destruction.

Wish our people in and abroad safe and sound year on the New Year. "
