The demonstrators stood a minute of silence, followed by a statement by the member of the Free Women Union of Sherawa District, Norah Hassan.

The statement saluted at the outset the campaign of the hunger strike in the prisons of the Turkish authorities, to end the isolation of the leader Ocalan, stressing support for the campaign.

The statement also denounced the KDP's policies against the Kurdish people in Rojava, and against the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) in Haftanin and all over the mountains of Kurdistan, calling on it not to be dragged behind the interests of the Turkish occupier.

In its conclusion, the statement stressed that with the resistance of the Kurdish people and the HPG in Başur Kurdistan, all the plans of the fascist states will be broken.
