Russian fighter jets target ISIS in the Syrian Desert

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, has confirmed that Russian fighter jets have targeted posts and areas held by the ISIS mercenaries in the Syrian Desert with at least 20 aerial raids, as battles between Syrian Government Forces and the ISIS mercenaries in the Hama-Aleppo- Raqqa triangle go on.

It was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, that Russian warplanes targeted on Thursday dawn posts held by the ISIS mercenaries in the Syrian Desert with at least 20 raids in line with continuation of battles between the Syrian Government Forces and the ISIS mercenaries in the Hama-Aleppo- Raqqa triangle.  

Yesterday, it was confirmed by Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, that battles were going on between the Syrian Government Forces and the affiliated groups, against the ISIS mercenaries, supported by Russian warplanes, in the ''new campaign'' against the ISIS mercenaries in the triangle in question.

Violent clashes are being monitored between the two sides in the last 24 hours amid ''heavy and intense aerial bombardment that led to human losses in the two sides'', as five members of the Syrian Forces and the affiliated groups, and 9 of the ISIS mercenaries were confirmed, indicating that ''the death toll is more likely to rise due to some critical injuries''.
