The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) continues its hostile policies towards the Kurdish cause, by attacking the Kurdish Liberation Movement and the Autonomous Administration in Rojava (Kurdish word for northeast Syria).

On December 13, 3 fighters from the Peoples' Defense Forces were injured in an attack by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), and it was not the first of its kind.

In parallel with these practices, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) is massing its forces on Rojava borders, precisely in front of the Derik area, in conjunction with hostile statements against the Autonomous Administration, fabricating false accusations against the People's Protection Units and exerting pressure on the Global Coalition to cut off the meager aid to the SDF.

Despite all the popular appeals at the level of the parties and political forces of the KDP to retreat from hostile policies to the Kurdish cause, the party insists on an alliance with the Turkish occupation state against the Kurds.

Nizam Hussein expressed his dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party's policies, saying: “Although the Kurdistan Democratic is aware of Turkey’s ploys, it keeps cooperating with it to maintain its power in Southern Kurdistan.”

Hussein added, "The history of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is full of its harmful policies to the Kurdish cause."

Hussein referred to the PKK’s struggle and the KDP’s exploitation of that struggle, “The Kurdistan Democratic Party today attacks those who defended Kurdistan from terrorism, and if it had not been for the PKK, Southern Kurdistan would have not enjoyed self-rule.”

Ibrahim Khalo warned that the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party could cause a great loss to the Kurds and set them hundreds of years back.

In turn, Walid Mohamed called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party to move away "from the Turkish state because Turkey is the enemy of all the Kurds."
