Mother of a political detainee calls for support

Turkish authorities impose tightened isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan and on all political detainees held at the Turkish jails, protesting these illegal procedures political prisoners of the Kurdistan Workers' Party and those of the Kurdistan Women Freedom Party launched a hunger strike campaign on November 27^th.

Kamiran Reshid, a political detainee and participant in the hunger strike, was born in the village of Haj Xelil of the Reco District in Afrin, was arrested in Turkey in 1993, on the charge of affiliation to the Kurdistan Workers' Party, the PKK, is now held at the Bolo Prison between Ankara and Istanbul, after he was transferred arbitrarily from the prison of Sinjane three years ago.

Fatima Doiko, mother of Kamiran, that contacts her son, pointed out that all detainees at the Turkish jails hold activities of which hunger strikes, for the sake isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan be removed.

Fatima said that " leader Ocalan embodies our freedom to break isolation imposed on leader and release him from prison for he is the symbol of freedom, peace and humanity and leader of all peoples not only the Kurdish one'', adding that '' all peoples that fight for their freedom have to revolt to give support to the resistance performed at jails, who have been fighting for their freedom at Turkish prisons. .

Fatima denounced breaches and violations by the Turkish authorities against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, calling on all concerned associations and bodies and the Kurdish colony outside to take to the streets and squares to hold activities that call for removing the isolation imposed on leader and his release from prison.

Worth to note that leader Abdullah Ocalan is being under strict isolation imposed by Turkish authorities that forbids his family and lawyers to pay him a visit since August 2019.
