No body entitled to dissolve the Shengal Administration

Movements by Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK, were condemned by Euphrates Region Youths, and cocludeing by the party with the Iraqi Federal Government to re-control the Shengal Province, indicating that nobody has the right to put an end to the Autonomous Administration in Shengal.

Rejecting positions from the Kurdish public opinion to movements by the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the conclusion by the party of the agreement with the Iraqi Federal Government to administer Shengal proceed, as people see that the party bargains it's interests at the expense of the Kurdish people.

On October 9^th, 2020, an agreement between the Iraqi Federal Government and Kurdistan Democratic Party in Southern Kurdistan, was concluded under Turkish support to administer Shengal.

Political analysts believe that the two contracting parties intend to put the agreement into practice, and re-control the region without taking into account the will of the Yazidi people in the region.

In this relation Euphrates Region Youths condemned the concluded agreement and confirmed their support to the Shengali people.

Spokesperson for the Revolutionary Youths in the Euphrates Region Mohamed Mahmoud said that in 2014 forces present at Shengal left the people there to face their fate at the hands of the ISIS mercenaries and that it was the Guerrilla Forces that responded to the call by the people of Shengal to protect and liberate them from ISIS in cooperation with the Shengal people.

Mahmoud condemned the contracted agreement saying at the end of his words that '' the agreement aims at re-controlling Shengal after it was liberated and protected from other genocides.

On August 3^rd, 2014, Shengal was open to an ISIS offensive, that led to the desert of forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party that left Shengal to it's fate, that led to the deaths and abduction of more than 5,000 Yazidis, mostly women and children.

From his part, co-chair of the Sport and Youths Body in the Euphrates Region, Bozan Berkel said that '' after Shengal was let down by the whole world to face it's fate at the hands of ISIS mercenaries, they want now to defeat Shengal and put an end to the administration there'', stressing that nobody has the right to put an end to the Autonomous Administration there and that no part should be allowed to interfere there..

From her part, spokesperson for the Young Woman Body in the Euphrates Region Toline Mohamed denounced movements by the Kurdistan Democratic Party and conclusion by the party of the Shengal October 9^th, 2020, agreement at the expense of the Shengali people calling on the party to take the part of the people of Shengal and not contribute to a Kurdish infighting.
