Thousands of people from the city of Manbij and its countryside flocked to Ain Issa district and went out in a demonstration, expressing their solidarity with the resistance of its people, and denouncing the Russian silence towards the Turkish attacks on the district.

Thousands of demonstrators from Manbij, Ain Issa, and Girê Spi set out from the municipality roundabout towards the Russian base on the eastern side of the district.

During their march to the base, the demonstrators chanted slogans denouncing the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands, and other slogans affirming the unity of the peoples of the region, and saluting the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces, carrying with them signs that read "No to the Turkish occupation, the occupation is violence.” “ We call on the international community to intervene to stop the Turkish attacks”. The marchers held pictures of martyrs and flags of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, the Future Syria Party and the Syrian Democratic Forces.”

Upon reaching the Russian base, Sabri Nebo, the deputy co-chair of the Girê Spi district, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the people of Manbij for their support and solidarity with them in their resistance and steadfastness against the Turkish occupation attacks.

He condemned the international silence regarding the daily attacks on Ain Issa by the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries.

The co-chair of the Legislative Council for Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij, Muhammad al-Abo, also delivered a speech in which he denounced the Russian silence regarding the attacks on Ain Issa district, calling on Russia to stand by its pledges and the agreements concluded, which provide for a ceasefire in the region.

Fadia Rasul, the spokeswoman for the Women’s Council in Manbij, expressed her rejection of the Turkish aggressions on the district, and condemned the international silence about it.

Sadiq al-Saidi, spokesman for the Manbij Notables Council, affirmed, "the people of Manbij stand with the people of Ain Issa and support them with their resistance and steadfastness in the face of the Turkish occupier, and the Syrian Democratic Forces that defend the land against the Turkish war machine that destroyed people and stones."

The spokeswoman for the Future Syria Party, Manbij Branch, Asya Al-Hussein, stated that the party stands by the resistance and steadfastness of the people of Ain Issa, and called on the humanitarian organizations to expose the Turkish crimes committed against the people of northern and eastern Syria.

She called on the Syrian government to accept dialogue and a political solution that is based on the principle of dialogue and the convergence of views between the parties and the Syrian national forces.

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans that affirm the unity of all Syrian peoples and salute the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The people of Raqqa and Kobani took part in a demonstration on the 12th of this month in Ain Issa district, and confirmed their support for the resistance of the people of the district and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of the Turkish occupation attacks, as well as their rejection of the Russian silence towards Turkish crimes and attacks.
