HPG: Forces of Kurdistan Democratic Party target Guerrilla Forces vehicles

Media Centre of the Peoples' Defence Forces, the HPG, has issued today a statement regarding the attack that targeted their forces, on yesterday evening, December 13^th, by forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK. 

It was made clear that '' on December 13^th, morning, at 10:00 a vehicle belonging to Peoples' Defence Forces was stopped by forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party on board Guerrilla Forces and members of a friendly group, close to village of Reshkan in the Zawite District of Duhok, and that after it was verified by the Special Forces that the fighters inside were of the Guerrilla Forces they opened fire at them intensively. 

The statement added that '' on December 13^th, at evening, at 20:30, armored military vehicles of the Kurdistan Democratic Party blocked a vehicle of the Peoples' Defence Forces in the area between the village of Kani and that of Sergal in the Amediye District, and fired bullets towards it, that led to clashes in the aftermath of which three fighters of the Guerrilla Forces were injured, two of whom critically.

The statement added that the area in which the vehicle was blocked is being used by the Guerrilla Forces years ago, and that this was not the first time for the Guerrilla Forces to be targeted.    

Statement of the Media Center of the Peoples' Defence Forces indicated that targeting Guerrilla Forces' vehicles are systematic and premeditated, and that the responsibility of which falls on those  who planned and carried out the attack.
