7 deaths, 85 new cases with COVID-19 in NE, Syria

On Monday, the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that it had recorded seven deaths of people infected with Coronavirus, in addition to the registration of 85 new infections.

Dr. Joan Mustafa, the co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, explained that the deaths are of two women from al-Hasakah, one from Qamishlo, a fourth from Kobani, and three men from al-Hasakah, Deir-ez-Zor and al-Shahba.

Mustafa added that they had recorded 85 new cases of Coronavirus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, which are 46 males and 39 females, and they are distributed as follows:

8 cases in al-Hasakah

6 cases in Qamishlo

10 cases in Deirk

5 cases in Ad-Darbasiyah

One case in Rumailan

One case in Amuda

11 cases in al-Raqqa

22 cases al-Tabqa

17 cases in al-Shahba

4 cases in Manbij

Mustafa also mentioned that 6 new recoveries were recorded.

It is noteworthy that, with the announcement of these new cases, the number of cases reached 7,533, of which 234 deaths, and 1,078 recoveries.
