Massive protest in Ain Issa

Thousands of people from the Gire Spi Canton and the city of Raqqa and the district of Ain Issa and Kobani took to the streets calling on the international community and the Russian Guarantor to put an end to Turkish attack on Ain Issa and to respect the concluded agreements.

Thousands gathered at the Municipality Circle at the middle of the Ain Issa town, in a demonstration that headed to the Russian Base close in the town, raising banners that condemn the Turkish Occupation Forces, and pay tribute to the resistance performed by Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, and martyrs sacrifices. 

Demonstrators held banners that read : No to Occupation, yea to preserving the gains made, put an end to occupation of Tal Abyad, we want to live in peace'', in addition to photos of martyrs, banners of Syrian Democratic Forces, logo of Syria's Democratic Party and those of Revolutionary Youths Movement.

At arrival top the Russian Base, co-chair of the Gire Spi Council, Hamid Abdullah delivered a speech in which he said '' we are here to condemn silence preserved by the international community and Russian Forces as guarantor state, regarding attacks on Ain Issa by Turkish Occupation Army without and deterrence by the international community and human rights associations in particular Russian Forces who are supposed to be guarantors, and that pledged to stop Turkish attacks on the town.

Hamid Abdullah paid tribute to the resistance performed by Syrian Democratic Forces and bravery in repelling attacks by Turkish Occupation Forces and the affiliated mercenaries. 

While Shaikh Mohamed al-Su'an delivered a speech on behalf of Raqqa's tribes where he confirmed that all people in Raqqa back and support Syrian Democratic Forces to which they stand side by side, pointing out that this protest in mere hard proof, and that they all reject aggression led by Justice and Develpoment Party. 

While Mohamed Shahine, co-chair of the Executive Council in the Euphrates Region, indicated that people in the region sacrificed thousands of martyrs to achieve victory and liberate from tyranny that Erdogan wants to re-impose, amid international silence. 

The protest came to an end after participants paid tribute to resistance by Syrian Democratic Forces and gave allegiance to the path adopted by martyrs.
