As the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries' attacks against the regions of north and east Syria are escalating, especially in the countryside of Ain Issa, Tel Abyad and Manbij, the issue of the "Russian guarantor" which has not yet assumed its responsibilities in stopping the Turkish occupation's attacks and violations is emerging.

The Russian guarantor must assume its responsibilities

The Russian position as well as the silence of the international community aroused the discontent of Manbij people of various components.

Jawaher Badr from the Turkmen component called on Russia, as the guarantor of the ceasefire agreement, to assume its responsibilities and put an end to the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Ain Issa and Manbij civilian villages that are being subject to brutal and barbaric bombardment by mercenaries, which led to the displacement of the people from their homes. She also called on Russia to clarify its position on these violations which they attest at their joint points in the regions of north and east Syria, from Manbij to Dêrik."

Jawaher Badr also appealed to the international community to "take a clear and frank stance towards the crimes committed in the regions of north and east Syria by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and to take a firm stance towards holding the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries accountable."

The people's will is stronger than Turkish crimes

As for the citizen Samer Habbak from the Circassian component, he said that the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation in the occupied areas, in addition to cutting off water in al-Hasakah caused great pressure on the citizens, and added: "The Turkish occupation practices these crimes to impose surrender on us, but the will of the people is always stronger, as the Turkish state entered and occupied the Syrian lands as part of a plan aimed at seizing the region's wealth." Samer Habbak explained that the international silence gives Turkey the opportunity to expand its occupation.

For his part, Mahmoud Ismail from the Kurdish component spoke about the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the regions of north and east Syria against humanity and children, describing them as "brutal crimes that must be punished on by human rights organizations."

Mahmoud Ismail pointed out that Russia's guarantor role in the region for the ceasefire is very weak, "and it does not express any position on the crimes committed, in addition to the silence of the international community." Ismail called on the international community to stand up to the Turkish occupation and work to reduce the crimes it commits.

Mona al-Khalaf, from the Arab component indicated that the Turkish state has contributed to deepening and prolonging the Syrian crisis since its inception, adding: "Turkey opened its doors to the terrorists to Syria, and was not satisfied with that, but also supported them militarily and logistically. After the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated these areas from terrorists, Turkey's colonial ambitions appeared in the Syrian regions.
