The Turkey's AKP government, constantly violates the rights of thousands of political prisoners, including the leader Abdullah Ocalan, whom the Turkish authorities impose strict isolation on him, and prevent his family and lawyer from meeting him.

On 27 November, political detainees announced a hunger strike to protest the isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In this regard, Afrin people spoke to "Hawar"Agency about the strike campaign, and affirmed their support for it.

Nisrin Hamo, an Afrini displaced in the Ezra district, al-Shahba district, said: “Leader Ocalan's thought is based on uniting all peoples and solving their problems, whether they are Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen or Circassians. That is why the authoritarian and capitalist countries sought to erase this thought by arresting the leader and put him in prison. "

As for the citizen Rashid Fatko, he said: “International organizations and unions must intervene and lift the isolation imposed on the leader because the solution to the unresolved crises in Syria, Turkey and the general Middle East can only be accomplished by his thought and philosophy."

Fatko continued: “The capitalist countries that live on the blood of the peoples of the region do not want to solve these unresolved crises. Rather, it creates new crises, removing solutions from the arena, as it is doing now with the leader Abdullah Ocalan, by imposing strict isolation on him and preventing anyone from visiting him."

Fatima Mustafa called on all human rights and humanitarian organizations to lift the strict isolation and confirmed her support for the hunger strike campaign in Turkish prisons.
