Joint Russian Turkish patrol in western Kobani

Russian Military Police in coordination with the Turkish Occupation Army have conducted a joint patrol to the west of the city of Kobani, on the Syrian Turkish border in north eastern Syria.

The joint patrol that was made up of four armored Russian vehicles and four Turkish equivalents, set off from the village border of Aşmê, to the west of the Kobani city, and is scheduled to pass the villages of Çar qeli, Qeran, Selib, Boban, Seftik, Sosan, Qole, Binder, Meşko and Cibnê'', and then to return to the place from where it was commenced, that is the village of Aşmê. 

This one is the 35th in the series of the Russian Turkish joint patrols to be conducted in rural Kobani, as it is being one per week.  

Conducting such patrols by Russian Military Police in partnership with Turkish Occupation Forces, comes in compliance with the Sochi Agreement concluded by Russia's Vladimir Putin and Turkey's Recep Tayyib Erdogan on October 22nd , 2020.  

At the time the two sides agreed to carry out such patrols in no more than ten km depth inside the Syrian soil on the border with Turkey in north eastern Syria as cities were exempted, in addition to withdrawal by Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, to 30 km distance inside the Syrian soil to be replaced by Border Guards of the Syrian Army, as well as putting an end to all hostilities in the area, to which Turkey has never abided by, for it proceeds to carry out offensives on civilian areas in Manbij, Ain Issa and Tal Tamr.
