Causing unthinkable devastation on civilians' properties, Turkish shells continue to fall over populated villages in the north and west of Manbij on an almost daily basis, endangering the lives of thousands of villagers.

Many villages border the Turkish occupation areas to the north of the city of Manbij, those located on the southern bank of the Sajur River, where they are constantly exposed to bombing that stems from the bases that Turkey has built inside the occupied Syrian areas, in addition to the villages west of Manbij.

The fighter Ali Al-Youssef, one of al-Bab Military Council fighters who are deployed in villages west of Manbij, which are villages belonging to the city of al-Bab, but the council defended them during the Turkish occupation launched Operation Euphrates Shield and prevented Turkey from entering it, he says that their areas are being targeted by the Turkish occupation on daily bases using heavy and medium weapons.

Ali, who is stationed in the village of Qurt Wiran (4 km north of the town of Al-Arima, west of Manbij), in the face of the Turkish occupation, added that the Turkish military base in the village of Sheikh Nasser is 400 meters away from them, and it is the one from which the shells are launched every time.

He stated that civilians are the victims of the bombing of the Turkish occupation and their mercenaries, as many homes were destroyed as a result of the almost frequent bombing of the area.

He explained that the Turkish occupation is bombing the area in the late night hours to scare civilians, pointing out that the Turkish UAVs do not leave the sky of the region, accompanied by the constant movements of mercenaries on the front lines.

In the same context, the fighter Mustafa al-Khalaf said from one of the Al-Bab Military Council points in the village of Qurt Wiran that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are targeting villages adjacent to the front line on an almost daily basis.

Pointing out that the shelling is indiscriminate, and that civilians are primarily targeted by mortar and artillery shells, adding that the bombing intensified a few days ago, and about 70 shells fell on villages in a short period.

Mustafa Al-Khalaf confirmed that they are in the region to protect civilians, and to prevent any Turkish attempts to occupy the area or harm its people.
