Arab meeting in Egypt to discuss Syrian crisis

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced today that a high-level meeting will be held with 3 other Arab countries to discuss the Syrian crisis developments and the way to solve it.

A statement published by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on its Facebook webpage said: "Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan held a consultative meeting today at the level of senior officials in the foreign ministries to discuss developments in the Syrian crisis."

She added that the four countries also considered ways to settle the crisis in accordance with Security Council Resolution No. 2254 in a manner that preserves the unity and territorial integrity of Syria. During the meeting, they discussed strengthening joint efforts to preserve Syria and the capabilities of the fraternal Syrian people."
