SDF release new batch of prisoners; notables of Shaddadi clans receive them

In response to the demands of the sheikhs and elders of the tribes in Shaddadi district, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released today a new batch of prisoners whose hands were not stained with blood in the towns and districts of Deir Ezzor and Marka.

The leader of Shaddadi Military Council, Jusoor Amouda, noted that the release came in response to the demands of the elders and sheikhs of the tribes, after it was proven that their hands were not stained with blood.

The batch SDF released included 23 prisoners from Markada and Al-Tire areas in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Before the prisoners left with the notables to their families, they had received all their belongings, and they were asked before the dignitaries about the treatment they received during their imprisonment.

The released persons assured the dignitaries of good treatment and that no party exposed them to violence.
