Dozens of war wounded from all regions of north and east Syria, sheikhs and notables of al-Raqqa clans, in addition to leaders from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Women Protection Units (YPJ), and members of the Martyrs' Families Foundation, the Future Syria Party and the Women Administration attended the conference held at the Cultural Center hall in al-Raqqa city.

The conference began with a minute of silence, after which the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Haqqi Kobani, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the war wounded for holding this conference, and affirmed the Syrian Democratic Forces' financial and moral support for the war wounded.

Hakki Kobani praised the role of the martyrs and the wounded in the previous stage in confronting the Turkish occupation and ISIS mercenaries, and stressed that had it not been for the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded, these areas would not have enjoyed safety and stability.

On behalf of the clans' sheikhs and elders in al-Raqqa, Sheikh Talal al-Sibat congratulated the holding of this conference and said: "In my name and the name of al-Raqqa tribes' sheikhs and elders, I greet the wounded and say to them "we are with you and we will be support for those who have lost their limbs, and we will be the eyes of those who have lost their eyes."

Sheikh Talal al-Sibat concluded his speech by raising the morale of the war-wounded, which indicates gratitude to someone among the Arabs.

After that, many congratulatory telegrams by civil and military institutions from all regions of north and east Syria were read, and they congratulated the holding of this conference in al-Raqqa, and wished them to end the conference with new decisions that interest and help the war wounded.

Then, the Member of the War Wounded Council in North and East Syria, Sidar Botan, read the society's political analysis which indicated at the beginning of Turkey's adherence to its nationalist mentality and its attempt to impose control over the regions of northern and eastern Syria at the expense of the components that have been living there since thousands of years, in addition to its attempt to change its demographics.

Sidar Botan added: "Turkey has occupied many areas in northern and eastern Syria, such as Girê Spî, Afrin and Serêkaniyê, and has practiced the worst kinds of crimes against humanity, while the world countries remained looking at these reckless acts without doing anything to cease these violations."

Sidar Botan continued his speech saying: "Turkey took advantage of the poverty of the occupied territories' people and lured them with money to take part in the war in Libya, Syria and others in order to achieve colonial goals."

After that, Sidar Botan read the rules of procedure and membership conditions for al-Raqqa Protection Association and its objectives based on providing material and moral support by communicating with hospitals in the regions of northern and eastern Syria and organizations interested in the affairs of people with special needs.

After that, discussion began for the war wounded and the attendees on the articles of the association's rules of procedure, and they were ratified by a direct vote via raising hands by the wounded.

The conference concluded with the election of 9 members as management for al-Raqqa Protection Association Council from the wounded people of al-Raqqa.
