​​​​​​​Al-Shaddadi Council organizes a celebration on World Child Day

Children and a large number of parents and members of civil institutions participated in the celebration organized by the district council. The celebration included popular dances by the Nujoom Youth Band and a number of musical performances.

The Co-chair of Al-Shaddadi District Council, Alaa Al-Omar, pointed out that children are the rising generation on which society depends in the coming stages to build a strong, healthy and developed society, and they are the main pillar that everyone should pay attention to.

Al-Omar noted that the International Children's Day is an opportunity to take care of orphan children who lost their parents during the war in Syria, as well as children with special needs, to entertain and honor them on their day.

 Al-Omar added that honoring children is with the aim of standing with the child morally and making them aware that the pillar on which we depend in the future and in the first place is to entertain them because our children lived difficult days during which they were deprived of their most basic rights over the course of several years, and we work hard through personal diligence and support for organizations that care for the child and childhood to fulfill their most basic rights.

 It is noteworthy that the gifts and prizes presented to the children are symbolic gifts by the district council and civil institutions as a token of love for all children on their International Day.
