4 deaths, 58 new cases of Corona in NE Syria

On Thursday, the Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that it had recorded four deaths of people infected with COVID-19 in northern and eastern Syria, and 58 new infections.

Dr. Juan Mostafa, the Co-chair of the Health Body in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria explained that the deaths are of two men from Qamishlo, one from al-Hasakah, and a fourth from Derik.

Mostafa added that they had recorded 58 new cases of COVID-19 virus in the regions of north and east Syria, which are 31 males and 27 females, and they are distributed as follows:

14 cases in al-Hasakah

11 cases in Derik

15 cases in Qamishlo

1 case in Amuda

1 case in Girkê Legê

1 case in ed-Dirbasiyyah

2 cases in Çil Axa

2 cases in Deir ez-Zzor

11 cases in al-Shahba

Mostafa also mentioned that 27 new recoveries were registered.

It is noteworthy that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the regions of north and east Syria reached 6,478 with the announcement of these new cases, including 172 deaths and 932 cases of recovery.
