28 Syrian soldiers killed and injured by ISIS in the Mayadin Desert

At least 28 soldiers of the Syrian Government Forces were killed or injured in clashes with ISIS affiliated mercenaries in the region of Fidhat Ibn Mweinigh in the Mayadin Desert in the eastern countryside of Deir-ez-Zor.

Information obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, purport that at least 28 of the so-called ''National Defense'' were killed or injured in clashes with mercenaries of the ISISI in the Mayadin Desert in eastern rural Deir-ez-Zor.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, clashes occurred after a column was carrying out combing and inspection operation in Mayadin, where 11 soldiers were killed, of whom a brigadier general, commander of Regiment 137, while 17 others were injured. 

The overall death toll from March 24th, 2019, up to date, stands now at 986 of government forces of which non-Syrian nationalities, at least two Russians, and 140 of Pro-Iranian Groups, all were killed in attacks, bombings and ambushes by the ISIS Mercenaries in the Deir-ez-Zor Desert, Raqqa, Homs and Sweida, while 532 of the ISIS affiliated mercenaries were killed in the same period.

In addition to at least four civilians were killed on gas fields, and 11 shepherds, and a female citizen, all in ISIS mercenaries in areas controlled by Syrian Government Forces.
