Sheikhmous : the way to Kurdish disputes is dialogue

Statements of the member of Central Committee of Syria's Kurdish Democratic Party, Ramzi Sheikhmous, in an interview with ANHA, on the events in Southern Kurdistan lately and the repercussions of the ongoing talks to form a unified Kurdish reference.  

At the beginning, Sheikhmous said that the ongoing talks between the Kurdish National Unity Parties, the PYNK,and the Kurdish National Council, the KNC, that began six months ago, has reached a decisive phase, asserting that they must be continued.

Sheikhmous did not deny difficulties,'' the current disputes are not easy ones, since based on accumulated issues since the Syrian crisis up to- date''.  

Adding that:'' each of the Kurdish National Council, KNC, and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the AANES, has a private project, but there are parties who rely on foreign parts and cling to external agendas, that is the Syrian National Coalition, the SNC''.

Unrelated issues

Member of the P.D.K.s. noticed that the talks are based on various issues, of which forming a unified Kurdish reference and talks on the future of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, security and stabilization in the region, and rapprochement on the first issue, while the other issues are on the table''.

Sheikhmous expressed his astonishment at the request by the Kurdish National Council, the SNC, to annul teaching in Kurdish, that poses many questions''.

Afrin status

Sheikhmous touched on the position by the Kurdish National Council regarding the occupation by Turkish Army,  of Afrin, saying:'' unfortunately, some pats are reluctant to clarify their position to say that Afrin is occupied or not ''.  adding :'' if not unified, we won't be able to liberate Kurdistan, Afrin and Sere Kaniye and others''.
