Dozens of martyrs' mothers of Afrin canton gathered in front of Martyrs' Families Council, located in Tel Qerah town which is affiliated with al-Ahdath district in al-Shahba canton to make a statement about the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Başûr Kurdistan.

The statement was read by Hajar Meho, the mother of the two martyrs Agîd and Zîlan, and the Member of Martyrs' Families Council.

The text of the statement included:

"On behalf of Martyrs' Families Council and all martyrs' mothers, we say to our families in southern Kurdistan, mothers of martyrs, and families of Peshmerga, that we do not want fighting among our people.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party has been fighting its people since 41 years and holding agreements with the occupying countries of Kurdistan to eliminate the Kurdistan Freedom Movement. From this rostrum, we tell them to stop dealing with the occupiers, as they have become a tool in the hands of these countries that are fighting Kurdish people.

After completing the statement, Hajar Meho called on mothers and families of martyrs and Peshmerga in southern Kurdistan to stand in one line to confront the Turkish enemy, and demanded families not to allow any party to use their children as tools of war against their brothers and sisters.
