Tensions prevail in southern Kurdistan because the KDP military build-up in Gare region means "declaration of war", according to leaders from the Kurdish Community Union (KNK) , as they warned of Kurdish infighting, that only serves Kurds' enemies.

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, tried to legalize movements of his forces on the ground by creating pretexts that were denied by leaders of the PKK and the Kurdistan Community Union.

In a statement, KNK said that Al-Barzani's speech came within the framework of efforts aimed at justifying his aggressive policies which tantamount to propaganda aims to distort Guerrilla reputation.

As regional countries aspire to consolidate the hegemony over Kurdistan, most notably Turkey, by pushing the Kurdish forces into an armed clash and Kurdish circles confirm that the loser will be the Kurdish people who live in the scourge and tragedies of wars, regress, economic conditions, and recurrent political crises. Accordingly, reactions are still continuing against the KDP’s movements. A number of the families of the martyrs in the Syrian Democratic Forces from the city of Kobane expressed their rejection of any escalation in southern Kurdistan, calling for unity.

Unity is the dream of martyrs

" Amina Yassin, a mother of the martyr from Kobane, says: "The Kurdish people have suffered a lot of enmity, tyranny and occupation, and it is time for the Kurds to be careful." And she added, "It is not permissible for a Kurd to kill brothers. We will not allow to be played around by the enemies and work to unify our ranks, raise our heads high thanks to the blood of our martyrs. Our unity will be our weapon against our enemies. "

Yassin appealed political parties and all Kurdish people to unify their ranks and realize the martyrs' dream of unity and freedom. Citizen Jihan Buzan, member of the martyr's families, said in an interview with Hawar News Agency, "We sacrificed our sons for unity, we deplore what is happening now in Başur Kurdistan which aims to fighting attempts between the Kurds." Bozan called for Kurdish unity, according to her saying, "We demand fulfilling of the expected unity among the Kurdish people."

We will not allow history to repeat itself.

" For his part, citizen Fathi Ali said that the Kurdish people have been demanding unity" added "We are waiting unity for liberation of our territories, but some political parties oppose it,"

He wondered about the reason that pushes some Kurdish parties to act against Kurdish unity, saying, "This means to whom does not accept the unification of the Kurdish parties accepts the oppression and tyranny of the enemy."

Ali at the conclusion of his speech he said, “We will not allow history to repeat itself, where Kurds kill each other as happened in the mid-nineties. With unity we will defeat our enemies and achieve goals of the revolution with freedom and victory which is the route to resist desires of our enemies".
