Autonomous Administration extends partial curfew for an additional 15 days

The Autonomous Administration issued Decision No. / 185 / extending the partial curfew in the regions of northern and eastern Syria for 15 days.

The items of the decision stated the following:

Based on the crisis cell meeting in the Executive Council of North and East Syria, and based on the requirements of the public interest, the co-presidency of the Executive Council of Northeast Syria decides the following:

1- A partial curfew is imposed on all areas of the Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria for a period of 15 days, starting from the morning of Monday, 9-11-2020, until 11-23-2020, implicitly according to the following provisions:

All major markets (bazaars, Friday market, Sunday market and others) are closed during the period of the curfew, with the exception of shops and stores selling food and vegetables, provided that they are closed at three in the afternoon, and restaurants are limited to external orders.

All places of worship are closed except for (Friday prayers - Sunday mass), with all necessary preventive measures taken.

- All major gatherings (wedding halls, funeral tents, meetings, conferences) are prohibited under penalty of liability.
