On 6th anniversary. . . Communist party calls for escalating resistance

The Revolutionary Communist Party issued a statement to the world on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the International Day of Solidarity with Kobani, which was announced on November 1, after the people of the city show great resistance in confronting ISIS gangs.

Kobani resistance had attracted all world's states, so thousands of the people went to the streets in the support the resistance, raising the flags of YPG, YPJ, demanding to protect the civilians from ISIS attack. 

The text of the statement read:

 “In 2010, the Arab uprisings against fascist dictators began in the Middle East, and the spark of revolution erupted in 2011 in Syria against the Ba’athist regime, and the Kurdish people no longer accepted the policy of extermination and paved their way to freedom, and the Kurdish people's revolution and women's revolution were ignited in Rojava.

The brutal Islamic gangs exploited all states and attacked the Rojava revolution with all their power to put out the fire of the revolution. It is known that ISIS, with the support of the fascist Erdogan, had already invaded Kobani and wanted to suppress the Kurdish people's revolution for the sake of freedom, and this demand was echoed with joy and enthusiasm in the areas where ISIS gathered.

But Kobani became the resistance of the era in that era and went out into the streets from house to house, and every part of Kobani was a fortress of resistance, and fighters such as Arîn Mîrkan,  Sarya Uzgûr, Paramaz kizilbaş    sacrificed themselves bravely and the communists in Kurdistan also resisted, and the people of North Kurdistan rose against these attacks and Kobani's resistance crossed the western borders, and international fighters from all over the world headed to Kobani and joined the resistance.

Resistance of the people won in Kobani and began the march of defeating ISIS and its allies, and this process continued until the flags of freedom were raised in al-Raqqa and Deir-ez-Zor.

The fascist Turkish state, which did not succeed with its gangs, attacked the Rojava revolution in Afrin, Ras al-Ain (Serê Kaniyê) and Tal Abyad (Girê Spi(, and the attacks are still continuing on the Rojava regions, where Turkey wants to attack the gains of the Kurdish people because it is hostile to the Kurds.

But it seems that Turkey has forgotten that the Kurdish people today are one with the peoples of the Middle East, and they have established their regime and are now protecting their people. Our people, who seized power through their brave resistance in Kobani, will defend their revolution until the end.

All freedom-loving persons and women should take to the streets on November 1, Kobani World Day, to defend freedom, dignity and revolution, the first revolution in the twenty-first century is an important gateway to the freedom of all peoples, and we will defend our revolution to the end in the spirit of Kobani's resistance.
