100+ deaths with Covid-19 in NE, Syria

The Health Authority in North and East Syria recorded 8 deaths from the Corona virus, in addition to 153 new infections, and thus the number of deaths from the coronavirus exceeded 100 cases.

The Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced the registration of 8 deaths from the Corona virus in northern and eastern Syria.

The co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Joan Mustafa, explained that the deaths are of three men and two women from al-Hasakah, and three men from Qamishlo, Deirk and al-Hol camp.

Mustafa added that they recorded 153 new cases, explaining that the cases are 91 males and 62 females, and they are distributed as follows:

28 cases in al-Hasakah

17 cases in Qamishlo

27 cases in Deirk

8 cases in Girkê Legê

Two cases in Rimêlan

6 cases in Amouda

One case in al-Hol camp

20 cases in Kobane

15 cases in al-Tabqa

14 cases in al-Raqqa

11 cases in Manbij

4 cases in Deir-ez-Zor

Meanwhile, Mustafa stated that 11 new recoveries were recorded.

With the announcement of these new cases, there were 3,251 cases, including 103 deaths and 646 recoveries.
