Demonstrators held pictures of leader Ocalan and banners that read: "Stop the occupation. It the stage of protecting the revolution. We denounce the October 9th plot against the leader. Stop the occupation of the Turkish fascism. It's time to liberate Afrin, Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad."

During the protest, Almaz Romi delivered a speech on behalf of the Women's Movement in Kobane canton, in which she said, "It may not seem a coincidence that the international conspiracy day against the leader Ocalan marks the same day of the Turkish invasion of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi. Rather, it is a systematic policy targeting the Kurdish revolutionary identity and preventing people's rights and freedom. "

Mustafa Ito, the Co-chair of Koban canton, condemned all forms of occupation, calling on the peoples of the region to rally around military forces and the Autonomous Administration.

Ito added: "This stage is very similar to that Ocalan lived twenty years ago, a revolution that bring to life the peoples and a Turkish aggression obliterate it. Both stages are identical in the objectives of the occupation. We resist until its goals are thwarted now as well. "

The protest ended amid chanting slogans against the Turkish occupation and demanding the freedom of leader Ocalan and releasing him from the prisons of the Turkish state.
