Arin became a torch of resistance for women's freedom. Many activists, such as Avista Khabur, Barin Kobane, Rivana, and others immortalized their names in the pages of the history of women resistance and struggle.

A briefing on Mirkan life

Arin, the real name “Dilara Malak,” was born in the village of Mirkan or the village of Hassi of Mobata district in Afrin canton in 1992 CE. She was named Dilara after the fighter Dilara who was martyred within the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement.

She studied the primary and preparatory stages in the school of her village, Mirkan, and finished the two stages par excellence, then joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in early 2007. With the outbreak of the revolution in Rojava and northern Syria, she participated in many national activities, and then joined the ranks of the Women Protection Units to defend her people and homeland.

After joining the ranks of the YPJ, the fighter Arin had all the characteristics that qualify her to be a leader in the Women's Protection Units and in all battlefields. She was always a source of morale for her comrades, spreading with her smile and constant energy happiness in those around her, and a spirit of high responsibility with regard to everything related to the cause of her people. Wahida Hanan, mother of the martyr Arin, spoke with her about her daughter.

She said that her daughter Arin was a beloved and very funny. She was outstanding in all her work, life and studies.

Her mother recalls an event when Arin was in the second year of intermediate school: “She came back from school and wore a bracelet decorated with Kurdish inscriptions, and she said that the teacher reprimanded her for that. from there, her struggle began. "

Her mother recommended upon her testimony that she trill

Arin mother said, according to one of her friends who were with her in the Kobane war, when they asked her if she wanted to see her mother, she said: “I want to meet my mother, but after the liberation of Kobane, and if I cannot do that, I recommend that she thrills at the top of her voice when I am martyred and not to be sad. "

At the end of her speech, Hanan said: "Arin, with her commando operation, shone the path of all women, and we are very proud of her commando operation. She proved to the enemy the free and strong woman's will."

Bashar King, the brother of the martyr Arin, spoke about his feelings after hearing that his sister carried out a commando operation: “Arin was very active in her work and excelled in her career. We have a strong impulse to continue and pursue her struggle, for this decision requires a strong will, and Arin had that will and deserved the title of the free woman.

The Kurdish people should unify their ranks against the occupation.

The brother of the martyr sent a message to all the Kurds in all parts to unify their ranks in the face of the enemy and said: “Now we see that the Turkish occupation is carrying out a campaign of arrests against Kurdish politicians in northern Kurdistan, against those who supported the Kobane resistance , so Turkey seeks to exterminate the Kurdish people by various means. In all ways, it requires us, the Kurdish people, to unite against the occupation. "

Arin charts an approach to women's freedom that has been accepted by many

On the fifth of October 2014, a clash took place between the YPG and ISIS mercenaries on Mushta Nour hill in Kobane, where the Afrinian fighter took advantage of that and advanced towards the mercenaries' gathering point, and upon its arrival, it detonated itself with a grenade that led to the explosion of several other bombs, killing a large number of ISIS mercenaries. Thus, Arin sacrificed her soul for her homeland and her people, and preferred martyrdom instead of living in humiliation and subservience, for in her operation, she drew a path to freedom that many followed.

Arin demonstrated to the whole world the will and strength of the Kurdish woman when it comes to her freedom and her cause. Hundreds of fighters followed her approach, Avesta Khabur and Barin Kobani, who turned into a symbol for all the women of the world.
