The meeting was attended by the representative of the US State Department in northeastern Syria, the military commander of the Global Coalition forces of Deir ez-Zor, the Co-presidency of the People Council, and tribal sheikhs in the eastern region.

The meeting began with a discussion of service and security situation and in this context, "Todd Inter, the representative of the US State Department, spoke: "There is development in the city of Hajin. We have seen, as we are coming here, stability and market movement, we will support this stability in the region and secure projects that also serve it."

The Co-chair of the People Council in Hajin Salah al-Salman said: “The region needs more support in terms of service and security. As for agriculture in the region, it suffers from a lack of resources, as the farmers' associations are 70% unemployed and in need of maintenance, in addition to their needs too new engines and generators. "

Al-Salman added, "As for the roads, they need to be modified and asphalted as soon as possible, and also there is a large section of schools that are completely destroyed, so we call for support to rehabilitate these schools."

Al-Salman also touched on the political situation, saying: "In our view the political situation is more important than the services, because stability means life. We want continuity and freedom for our people because we do not know the next situation. Is there a war? Is there a withdrawal of the Coalition forces?"

At the conclusion of the meeting, the representative of the US State Department, "Todd , spoke: "We agree with you on these issues, and we are working to ensure that the region is safe, and we will work to support it and achieve its requirements."
