The Israeli media reported that the Czech Ministry of Defense informed the Israeli Ministry of Defense of its decision to equip its army with air defense systems developed by the Israeli military company "Raphael".

According to Israeli reports, the cost of the deal is expected to reach hundreds of millions of dollars.

The Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, thanked the Czech government for the "partnership and the decision" to use Israeli devices to protect the country's airspace, and said, "This is an important step towards strengthening relations between the two countries."

The Czech government had allowed negotiations to buy 5 Israeli "Spider" batteries as part of the agreement between the two countries.
