KCK campaign should be supported

The Co-chair of the Afrin canton Council, Muhammad Nasso, affirmed that the campaign launched by the Kurdistan Community Union (KCK) is important to protect the rights of the Kurdish people, stressing the need to support it and stand together against the occupation.

The Co-chair of the Afrin canton Council, Muhammad Nasso, spoke about the campaign launched by the KCK to confront the occupation attacks on Kurdistan and liberate leader Abdullah Ocalan, under the slogan "No to isolation, fascism and occupation, it is time for freedom."

"This campaign is very important in this sensitive and historical phase," said Nasso. "A few days ago, we came across the anniversary of the military coup in Turkey on September 12, 1980, and the Kurds were exposed at that time to the fiercest attacks all of that is to erase the existence of the Kurds."

Nasso believes that the launch of the Kurdistan Community Union's campaign at this historic and sensitive time is important because it is a to be or not be stage for the Kurds.

He added, "Of course, with all respect to the Kurdish parties. Unfortunately, there are parties that have not fulfilled their duties toward the homeland. so far, they are in a state of negligence and stand in the middle line, they have not decided yet whether they should join the revolution or not. There are brutal attempts to exterminate the Kurds in the Middle East, amid regional and international countries silence regarding the violations of human rights in Afrin, Serêkaniyê, Girê Spi, and Haftanin recently.

"This campaign is important because it protects the people's revolution, so we ask political parties to join this revolution, because this war targets us all. Today we are in solidarity with that campaign because it will protect the right and freedom of the Kurdish people at the level of the four parts of Kurdistan," he stressed. ".

The need to support the campaign

He explained that Kurdistan has been occupied for many decades, and that the occupation process continues to turn peoples into slaves of the occupation, so the danger to Kurdistan is present.

He stressed that the will and determination of the Kurdish people will fail the enemy's plans and enable them to obtain their freedom.

The Co-chair of al-Shahba Conton Council stressed the need to unify the Kurdish ranks to support the campaign so that everyone is on one side against the occupation.

He believed that the Kurdish people should follow the martyrs' path at this sensitive stage in which the Kurdish issue has become the subject of discussion in international forums, pointing out that this is thanks to the martyrs.

“The only thing that falls on the people’s shoulders is sharing the democratic nation’s project with other components and nations, completing weak points, spreading the idea of Autonomous Administration in Rojava and developing relations in the Middle East with the Arabs and all other components, so stop the fanatic and racist mentality.”

Nasso concluded his speech by stressing the importance of the step taken by the Kurdistan Community Union, stressing their readiness to do whatever falls on their shoulders to support the campaign and confront the occupation.
