This morning, a Russian patrol went out in the Alya area ​​in Tirbe Spiye district, consisting of 4 vehicles, accompanied by two helicopters. The patrol roamed the villages of Alya border region between Rojava and Bakur Kurdistan, starting from the west of Alya district to its east, with two helicopters flying over those villages low.

The Russian patrols are part of the agreement concluded between Russia and Turkey on the one hand, and Russia and the Syrian Democratic Forces on the other hand.

The agreement concluded between Russia and Turkey on October 22, 2019 stipulates the conduct of joint patrols along the border strip separating the regions of northern and eastern Syria and Bakur Kurdistan, however, in most cases, only Russian patrols will go out.
