The third conference of the KSC began in Afrin canton this morning, with the participation of 160 representatives under the slogan "With the struggle of Havrin and Zahra, we will end the occupation and guarantee the victory of the women's revolution" in the Mitan hall in al-Shahba canton.

After reading the report of the past two years, the Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Aisha Hasso, evaluated the events in the regions of northern and eastern Syria and the Middle East in general.

At the beginning of her speech, Hasso touched on the efforts to thwart the democratic Autonomous Administration project and said: "When we see our victories after we followed the third line, the Autonomous Administration project was able to prove itself in all respects and rise to the required level and protect the gains of NE Syria."

On the Syrian level, she referred to the deepening of the Syrian crisis and the increase in internal conflicts due to the policy of the intervening countries in Syria, adding, "The meetings held in Astana and Geneva have not yielded any results. Until now, their results have been clear, which is support for the Turkish occupation of the lands of northern and eastern Syria."

At the end. she called on all political parties to show their strict positions regarding the Turkish attacks and occupation, in the first place against political women, "because they are the ones who lead the women's revolution," and also called on all women to organize themselves and confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation.

The conference activities continued by reading the annual report, and after evaluating the work of the past two years, the conference approved a number of decisions to serve as a plan of action for the next two years of the Kongra Star, including: “Escalating the struggle and activities denouncing the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and his liberation from Imrali prison, training the community on the principles of the people's revolutionary war, opening training academies for both sexes, establishing a website for the KSC and strengthening the media, opening a center for the Sara Organization to combat violence against women, developing economic projects and role of Arab women and forming special cultural teams for Arab women, organizing a campaign to introduce women’s laws, organizing a special festival for children, opening training centers, opening a nursery for children, and strengthening the role of women in society.

After voting on the decisions, elections were held, and Sherin Bahri, Aisha Mahmoud, Farida Ibo and Fatima Suleiman were elected to the membership of the coordinators of the Star Conference in Afrin canton, and the KSC Board in the district, which includes 21 members, was elected.

The conference work was concluded with a closing speech by a member of the executive body of the Democratic Union Party, Hadiya Yousef, who congratulated all women on the success of the conference and said: “We, as women, through our conference renew our pledge to achieve victory and insist on continuing the struggle for freedom and consolidating the democratic nation’s project, and we say to our enemies that we will achieve freedom and liberate our lands from the abomination of terrorism and guarantee a free life with the leadership of women. "
