The activities of the second public symposium in the city of Hasakah, organized by the Syrian Democratic Council, concluded with a new set of proposals and recommendations, which come within the framework of reaching a comprehensive national conference at the level of northern and eastern Syria and expanding the Autonomous Administration.

The second public symposium organized by the Syrian Democratic Council was launched today under the slogan "Towards a National Conference for the People of al-Jazeera and the Euphrates" in the city of Hasakah. It was attended by about 150 political, cultural, tribal and independent parties from all cities of northeastern Syria, and the head of the commission Executive of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, and Vice President of the Executive Board of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hikmat Habib.

A delegation from the US State Department also participated in the second axis, with the aim of reviewing the course of the symposium and how it was held, and affirmed its support for this initiative, and said, "We are all proud to listen to these discussions."

The second public symposium included two axes, the first is “Syrian-Syrian dialogue, dialogue with the opposition, dialogue with the regime, Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue and its reflection on the political solution,” and the second “historical relations between the peoples of the region and their role in building the Autonomous Administration, the mechanism for developing participation in the Autonomous Administration. . "

At the end of the symposium, several proposals and recommendations were made, including "strengthening the role of the economy and avoiding crises, creating a qualified and new educational staff fit for the Autonomous Administration and teaching it, encouraging the agricultural reality, and holding a dialogue with the Syrian regime as soon as possible without interference from outside parties."

The attendees also demanded, through their proposals, to reactivate the communes, to form new councils in various fields, and to start reform matters in all cities of north and east Syria.

The attendees emphasized the necessity to clarify the fate and situation of the detainees in the prisons of the Syrian government, and to know the fate of the disappeared.

The attendees stressed, through their proposals, the need for concessions by the Syrian government and the Autonomous Administration to reach a solution to the crisis away from external interference.
