​​​​​​​1st SDC public symposium in North and East Syria concluded

The preparatory committee for the mass seminars organized by the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) raised a set of recommendations, suggestions, and opinions on developing the Administration in northern and eastern Syria, and how to get rid of the challenges and difficulties facing the region in terms organization, politics and military at the conclusion of its first public seminars held in al-Hasakah.

The activities of the public symposium organized by the Syrian Democratic Council which was held in the city of al-Hasakah was concluded with the presence of more than 500 political, tribal and community figures.

The works of the public symposium included an opening speech by the preparatory committee for the seminar in al-Hasakah canton, and 3 historical, political, and cultural lectures on 3 axes; the first of which is the historical relations between the peoples of the region and their role in building the future of Syrians, the role of the Syrian components in strengthening these relations, the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, the Autonomous Administration (AA) and the rules of institutional work "governance," and the mechanism of developing participation in the Autonomous Administration.

The meeting focused in the discussions and comments on the main axes that were raised on the necessity of the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, focusing on the mechanism of communication with the Syrian government, strengthening relations, and building political frameworks far from external parties with self-reliance and relying on the region's capabilities and its political, societal and military points to reach a unified vision that helps to limit any interference and reject any external impositions.

In addition to the need to focus on dialogue and continue the meeting with the Syrian government, pushing it to dialogue with the Autonomous Administration, and accelerating the call for all parties to dialogue, so as to return in a positive way to the co-existent society in northern and eastern Syria in particular and throughout Syria in general.
