Since 2015, the Turkish authorities have imposed tight isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and prevented his family and lawyers from meeting with him despite the submission of dozens of requests to the Public Prosecution Office in Turkey, which are rejected with false pretenses.

Many observers believe that the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the prevention of lawyers from meeting with him violates the most basic rights of detainees stipulated in international and humanitarian law, and the leader Abdullah Ocalan is a revolutionary patriotic figure who has the status of a revolutionary leader and not a criminal prisoner.

Isolation and its policies target the Kurdish people, and it is Turkey's persistence and determination to exterminate the Kurds, eradicate the Kurdish Liberation Movement and erase the Kurdish existence and identity.

Political personality and isolation targeting the will

The member of the Intellectuals Union in ed-Dirbasiyah district, the artist Sheikhmos Heres explained that Turkey sees the leader Abdullah Ocalan as the mastermind of the Kurdish people, and represents his will to solve his case, so that it is tightening the isolation measures. He said: "The international conspiracy does not target the will and personality of the leader only, but rather the will of the Kurdish people and all free peoples."

Heres pointed out that the isolation imposed on the leader violates international laws, principles and norms, as Ocalan represents a revolutionary political figure who struggles for the rights and freedom of his oppressed people throughout history. He continued: "There are no rights and laws in Turkey and isolation violates all laws within and outside Turkey."

He added: "Isolation indicates the extent of the Turkish state's fear of finding solutions to the problems of the Middle East in general, and in Turkey and Syria in particular in implementing the ideas of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, given that Turkey wants the Middle East to be a hotbed of conflicts and fighting in order to achieve its ambitions."

Capitalism has a role

The official at the Academy of Martyr Berjem, Nesreen Maami, noted that the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan is by order and realization of capitalist countries and said: "Turkey is not alone behind isolation, but rather all capitalist and authoritarian countries with prior knowledge, as the leader's thought and philosophy its constituted an obstruction totheir colonial plans and interests in the region."

Nesreen Maami said: "Everyone knows that Rojava dilemma and the Middle East crisis can only be solved by the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and strict isolation is to prevent the leader's solutions from reaching the outside and his people."
