Shirfan Serêkaniyê added: “After the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries occupied the cities of Girê Sipi and Serêkaniyê, armistice and cease-fire agreements were concluded between the international powers, and based on those agreements, the Syrian Democratic Forces withdrew from many villages, but the occupying Turkish state violated the ceasefire agreement."

He indicated that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to target and bombard the villages inhabited by the civilian population in the vicinity of the city of Girê Sipi, as well as the bombing of the M4 International Road.

He said that international forces and human rights organizations do not take a clear position on the crimes and violations of the Turkish occupation state, and said in this regard: “The people who live in the fronts lines do not want to leave their homes and villages, and therefore they are exposed on a daily basis to attacks and bombardment by the occupying power. At the same time, we continue to defend our people and protect the region. "
