Turkish intelligence scheme foiled to spread chaos in NE, Syria

​​​​​​​The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces indicated that the counterterrorism units managed to thwart a Turkish intelligence scheme aimed at creating chaos in the Autonomous Administration areas, and managed to seize an amount of weapons and explosive materials.

Today, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to public opinion, in which it said: “The Turkish intelligence aims to create chaos and instability in the areas of the Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria, by introducing explosive materials and weapons to the region, while it indicated that the units Fighting terrorism thwarted a plot against them in the city of al-Raqqa.

The text of the statement is:

To the media and public opinion:

YAT units managed to seize quantities of weapons and explosive materials that were brought in and prepared by Turkish intelligence in the city of Tal Abyad / Gire Sipi, for use in creating chaos and instability in the Autonomous Administration areas.

With these weapons, it wanted to strike stability in the city of Raqqa, as happened in Deir-ez-Zor region, but the Turkish intelligence scheme did not reach its goal.

The weapons and items seized are "83 explosive devices, a pistol, 82 rounds for a pistol, two silencers, two AK-47 weapons with 8 magazines of them, and 700 rounds of ammunition."
