​​​​​​​2 deaths, 65 new cases with Covid-19 in NE, Syria

​​​​​​​Two deaths and 65 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in northern and eastern Syria, as well as 40 new cures, according to the Health Authority.

The Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced the registration of two deaths of people infected with Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria.

The co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Joan Mustafa, explained that the two deaths are of a fifty-two-year-old man from Qamishlo, and a sixty-six-year-old woman from Derik.

Mustafa indicated that the Health Authority had recorded 65 new cases of Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria, 33 of whom were males and 32 females, and were distributed as follows:

12 cases in al-Hasakah

11 cases in Qamishlo

16 cases in Deirk

6 cases in Ad-Darbasiyah

One case in Amuda

One case in Tirbespiyê

One case in Rumailan

Two cases in Girkê Legê

3 cases in Kobane

Two cases in Deir- ez-Zor

Two cases in al-Tabqa

8 cases in al-Raqqa

Meanwhile, Mustafa stated that 40 new recoveries were recorded.

With the announcement of these new cases, 689 cases were announced, including 42 deaths and 198 recoveries.
