In this context, Hawar news agency ANHA met with a number of residents of Afrin canton to clarify their position on the attacks on the Kurdish lands by the occupiers.

In this regard, the citizen Hussein Habash spoke, and during his speech he denounced the Turkish attacks, noting that Turkey would expand its attacks if not stopped at its limit: “We, the people of Afrin, condemn and denounce these attacks launched by Turkey on the territory of Kurdistan, and the Turkish occupation army has begun to expand its attacks on The regions of Kurdistan, especially after it occupied Afrin canton and areas in Girê Sipi and Serêkaniyê , and there was no one to put an end to it.

Habash affirmed that there is no way but resistance to victory in that war: “Today the occupier renews its attacks on the areas of Haftanin, and we believe in the slogan "Resistance is Life,” and that is why there will be no way to get rid of these attacks except with resistance, as the HPG is resisting in the mountains, and we Here we fight in the camps. "

Habash also called on world countries to stand against Turkey, saying: “After Turkey saw that there was no country standing against it, its attacks intensified, and on this basis the world powers must intervene and stop the Turkish attacks on Başûr,

For her part, Citizen Kawthar Mustafa considered that what the regional government is doing is part of the list of treason: “What we see from the position of the Kurdistan Regional Government towards the attacks of the Turkish occupation army is a great betrayal against the Kurdish people. These attacks and the silence of the Kurdistan Regional Government will not serve Kurdish unity, but will lead to divergence and vulnerability. "

Kawthar called on the Kurdish people to work to achieve unity, and said: “I call on the Kurdish people to work to achieve unity, so that we are able to stand up to the occupiers and repel their attacks. At this stage, we urgently need Kurdish unity, because unity is what makes us strong to confront the enemies.”

At the end of her speech, Kawthar added that the region’s position stands in front of the hopes of millions of Kurds: “The Kurdistan Democratic Party stands before the hopes of millions of the Kurdish people to achieve unity with this position, and the people of Başur must rise up against the occupier.”
