The Turkish occupation state and the Syrian government are seeking by various means via their agents, mercenaries, ISIS, and their sleeper cells to eliminate the gains in northern and eastern Syria, and create sedition and civil war among its components by exploiting the young group to serve their agendas, and targeting elders and tribal leaders, especially in the regions of al-Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.

Recently, a number of prominent Arab tribesmen were targeted, the last of whom were Sheikh Khalil Ibrahim al-Jadaan al-Hafl and Sheikh Mutshar al-Hamoud who were targeted on August 2 in the town of al-Huwayj in the town of Ziban in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and resulted in the killing of Mutshar al-Hamoud and the driver immediately, in addition to injuring Sheikh al-Jadaan seriously.

The General Supervisor of the Clans and Notables Council for the eastern region Hawass Jadie spoke to ANHA about targeting tribal leaders and creating discord among the components of the region, and on behalf of the tribal council and notables in the eastern region, he denounced the crimes and assassinations that affect tribal leaders, especially in al-Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.

The Turkish state is a sponsor of terrorism, and has made its lands a base for launching terrorists to NE Syria

Hawass Jadie pointed out that the "fascist Turkish state" is a sponsor of "terrorism and terrorists" in the region and has made its lands a base for launching and sending them to the regions of northern and eastern Syria to ignite sectarian and ethnic strife via mercenary groups and their sleeping cells in the region.

Jadie said: "The Turkish fascist state is primarily responsible for these criminal acts, and the goal of the assassinations has become known to everyone, which is to strike the stability and safety in the region." He explained that the Syrian government and terrorist groups also benefit from these acts that affect the clans' notables.

Jadie continued: "There are several parties that have goals from these attacks that affect northeastern Syria because the region enjoys security and stability thanks to the blood of all the components of the region which has provided more than 12,000 martyrs and tens of thousands of wounded to reach safety."

The goal of Turkey and the Syrian regime is to strike stability and safety, and to eradicate the region's gains

Jadie said: "The aim of the Turkish and Syrian regimes is to strike the stability and security of the region through these assassinations, and to implement their agendas at the expense of the blood shed for the sake of liberating the region."

Jadea explained that Turkey's goal is to eliminate the gains of the peoples of the region that were achieved with the blood of the martyrs, and to eradicate the ideology and philosophy of the democratic nation that all the peoples of north and east Syria believe in, adding that Turkey believes that the philosophy of the democratic nation constitutes an impregnable barrier to its occupying agendas in the region, and he said: "Because its main goal is to occupy Aleppo to Mosul and annex them to Turkey."

Jadie noted: "Turkey is seeking to change the demography of the region, displace its original inhabitants, and settle terrorist groups there at the expense of the peoples of the region." He added: "The people of the region must be aware of these games that the Turkish state and the Syrian regime are carrying out through terrorist groups which target clans in the region."

Jadie drew attention to the fact that the state of Turkey and the Syrian government are now playing on the clan chord because they are the main and guarantor forces in the region, as the region has a tribal character, and they try through the clans to undermine the security and stability in the region.

Joining ranks maintains stability in the region

Jadiea praised the role of all tribal leaders and notables in northern and eastern Syria in consolidating their ranks and standing in front of the sectarian and ethnic strife that the Turkish and Syrian regimes are trying to fabricate, stressing to stand against these actions, and said: "Because it is not in the interest of the Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Chaldeans, Assyrians, Yazidis and Alawites, our success is the stability of the region, and this strife will affect Syria as a whole."

Jadie stressed that the stability of the region is in the interest of Syria as a whole, so the Syrian regime should help the region and not play with fire because it is not affiliated with anyone, and the security and stability of the region is in the interest of all Syrians. He appealed to the honorable, patriots, and the Kurdish, Arab and Syriac political parties to get away from narrow partisan interests and personal, family interests. He said: "We need a national interest in order to serve this people and preserve the gains that have been made in the region thanks to the solidarity among the components."

For his part, the member of the Clans and Notables Council of the eastern region, Ahmed al-Shami, said that the Clans Body and notables are coherent in solidarity in decisions and settlements, and form a strong ground in the north and east of Syria. He indicated that the Council rejects all threats and all forms of colonialism, whether it is Turkey or ISIS and terrorist groups because it is their main goal to strike and destroy the regions of northern and eastern Syria, and to dismantle the fabric of the region.

Al-Shami expressed his pride in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) because they always stand in front of the games and attacks launched on the regions of north and east Syria.

Al-Shafi added: "Thanks to the democratic nation philosophy, we live in safety and stability, and all the components are in a complete and stable understanding, and agree on one point of view against any attack or act of terrorism that affects the security of the region."

Ahmed al-Shami appealed to all clans in Syria to stand together in the face of the Turkish occupier, its mercenaries and "terrorist" groups that threaten the security of the region.
