The security services in the Euphrates region in northeastern Syria were able, in an intelligence operation, to arrest one of the most dangerous criminals in correspondence and crimes against the Kurds in Afrin during the past two years.

Duika, a Kurd, worked as an agent of the Turkish intelligence services (MÎT) in various areas of Afrin canton in March 2018, especially in the Jendersse and Rajo districts.

From drug seller to intelligence agent

the 20-years-old young was alone in his house in Rajo sub-district of Afrin canton in the far northwest of Syria, during the Turkish invasion of the canton in January of 2018, until the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries entered the town, so he and his neighbor Muhammad Adnan sold narcotics and alcoholic drinks to mercenaries.

Mercenaries from the Al-Hamzat faction of the so-called "National Army" offered Ibrahim; work with them as an informant about the national Kurdish families in Afrin, after a month, he became one of the companions of "Abbas", the leader of the Al-Hamzat faction.

Ibrahim says, “Abbas and the Turkish intelligence services asked me during the war in Afrin to provide information about the SDF fighters' positions, as a result aerial bombardment affected led to the death of a number of fighters. "

He received intelligence and military training at a Turkish base

One of the leaders in the Turkish intelligence, called "Gamp," asked Ibrahim to join a camp inside Turkish territory for intelligence and military training. Ibrahim says that he had crossed the border and was accompanied by 15 Arab youths to receive training together, for 25 days.

Kidnapped and raped Kurdish women at gunpoint

Ibrahim Bashar was provided with a personal weapon, hand grenades, as well as a Kalashnikov weapon and mobile devices, and accompanied "Abbas" on his missions inside Afrin, during the period that followed Turkey and the Syrian mercenaries' occupation of the province.

"They asked me to kidnap Kurdish women, children and girls from the areas and villages. We used to do this on regular basis. Sometimes we kidnapped between 20, 40 or 50 women and girls per day at gunpoint. When they came to the camps, those women would be distributed on the fighters in the Free Syrian Army, to be brutally raped and I have raped about 20 Kurdish girls.

Liquidation of Kurdish civilians near the Black River

Ibrahim says that he participated in the process of killing Kurdish civilians and throwing their bodies in the Black River on the Syrian-Turkish border, saying, “The kidnappings of the sheikhs, men, and youth by the Turkish-affiliated factions were taking place in a large scale, and some of those kidnapped were taken to the Black River and shot dead. Even I shot 20 people at different times. "

After crossing the Euphrates, the security forces arrested him

The second training that Ibrahim Bashar received was at a Turkish base in 2019, and he was assigned to cross the Euphrates River and enter the regions of northern and eastern Syria to provide information about the Syrian Democratic Forces so that the intelligence services and internal security forces in the Euphrates region could arrest him in a tight intelligence operation.
