In its latest report on the movement of mercenaries, the Syrian Observatory stated that Turkey had deluded dozens of mercenaries that they would go out on an easy mission to protect facilities in Qatar, but after their travel, they found that the instructions have changed, as well as the destination.

The Observatory added that the Turkish intelligence deluded about 120 mercenaries loyal to Ankara, and agreed with them to work within the protection of civil institutions in Qatar, but when they left the Syrian region of Afrin to Turkey, they discovered that their destination was Libya with the aim of supporting the forces and factions of the Government of National Accord in Tripoli.

He also explained that "Turkish intelligence transferred at least 120 mercenaries from the" Suleiman Shah, Faleq al-Sham and Sultan Murad "factions from the Afrin region to Turkey and from there to Libya.

It is reported that, according to the observatory's statistics, the number of mercenaries who have gone to the Libyan lands so far, has risen to about 17,420 mercenaries of Syrian nationality, including 350 children under the age of 18.
