On August 15th anniversary, visit to martyrs shrines

The people of al-Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods in Aleppo city greeted the annual anniversary of the August 15th Leap by visiting the shrines of martyrs.

Hundreds of residents from al-Ashrafieh and al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods in Aleppo took a car convoy to the shrine of the martyrs in al-Sheqayyef neighborhood in conjunction with the 36^th anniversary of the August 15^th Leap.

The car convoy set off in front of the Democratic Society Academy located in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, chanting slogans that salute the struggler Agîd and the martyrs. The convoy toured the streets of al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, and the western and eastern part of the al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

Then, the people headed towards the martyrs' cemetery of al-Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods which are located in al-Sheqayyef neighborhood, where the people stood for a minute of silence in tribute for the martyrs' souls, and pledged to follow the path of the leader Maasum Kourkumaz and all the martyrs of freedom.
