After sending forces to Zînê Wertê by the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Kurdistan National Union, disputes in the region escalated and are still continuing.

After the Peshmerga forces stationed in Zînê Wertê, the area was bombed by warplanes belonging to the Turkish occupation army.

This bombardment caused resentment among the Kurdish political circles after targeting the Peoples' Defense Forces (HPG), and the political forces held the KDP responsible for the recent escalation.

Late yesterday evening, the KDP political bureau issued a written statement in this regard.

In its statement, the party claimed that there was no connection with the forces are existed in Zînê Wertê area and refused to hold it responsible.

Similar to the Peshmerga Ministry, the KDP claimed that the forces stationed in Zînê Wertê came as part of efforts to confront the Corona pandemic and had no connection to the party.

And the KDP statement blamed the YNK for the escalation, saying, "Unfortunately, some figures in the YNK are always trying to give the partisan character to this issue, and many other issues, and the Kurdistan government has the right to send forces everywhere", according to the statement.

Despite allegations by the Peshmerga Ministry, their forces were deployed there as part of efforts to confront Corona, but reports from the region indicated that other forces linked to the KDP's Zirvani forces had gone there.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Peshmerga consists of joint forces between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Kurdistan National Union, but the Ministry is subject to the authority of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
