Turkey is against the freedom of peoples

This came, in a statement issued by the council to the public opinion, where it was read by the co-chair of the Council of Martyrs’ Families, Bahjat Jadaan, in which he stated:

"On behalf of the Council of Martyrs’ Families in Deir Ezzor, we offer our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs in general and to the families of the martyr" Agid Ipek "who comes from Amed, northern Kurdistan, who was heroically fighting against the Turkish occupation. We condemn and denounce this heinous crime committed by the fascist Turkish occupation which was and remains against the freedom of peoples who aspire to freedom and equality.

The Turkish state, which had a black history and a horrific past with the peoples of the region, and the Arab peoples, where its lands were occupied nearly 450 years, and pushed its people in wars for its colonial interests, and now it is practicing the same approach, where it occupies, kills and displaces before the whole world as Afrin, Girê Spi and Serekaniye.

Besides, the Turkish occupation is conducting forced displacement and bringing about demographic change in the places it occupies. Turkey, which claims democracy, has a black history in the region and is the largest fascist country in the world, and its actions attest to that.”
