HRE: 6 mercenaries killed, military vehicle destroyed in Afrin

On Thursday, the Afrin Liberation Forces issued a statement to the public opinion, revealing the outcome of the military operations they carried out in Afrin.

The text of the statement read:

On the 26th of March:

During a qualitative operation, our forces stormed a point for the position of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the village of Umra in the district of Shara, during which three mercenaries were killed.

On the 1st of April this year:

Our forces detonated an explosive device with a vehicle carrying a mercenary leader called Abu Khaled on the road to the village of Burj Haidar in the Sherawa district, during which the mercenary Abu Khaled and three other mercenaries who were with him were killed, and another mercenary was wounded in addition to the destruction of the military vehicle.

On the same date, our forces detonated an explosive device in front of one of the headquarters of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in al-Mahmudiyah neighborhood of the Afrin center, where they caused material damage.

As a result of our forces ’operations, six mercenaries were killed, one mercenary was wounded, and a military vehicle was destroyed.

On the other hand, the Turkish occupation continues to target the civilian areas, where during the past days, artillery and tank shells shelled the villages of al-Shahba, Sherawa and Shara regions, drones hover over the sky of the area.
